You don't need a date (although you can register as a two-person team if you wish) to run around Green Lake in this Valentine's Day-themed 5K, 10K, or half-marathon race. The event itself is good sized for a 5K - about 2,000 participants when we were there. Online registration was a breeze, as was packet pickup. The vendor area was much bigger than we were expecting.
