Elementary Valentine Parties ALL-DAY Center Elementary, Gates Mills Valentine’s Day in the classroom is a time filled with joy, creativity, and meaningful learning opportunities. Whether your students are diving into heartwarming stories, crafting digital Valentines, creating symmetrical fun, exploring figurative language, or spreading kindness, these activities make the holiday both fun and educational. Halloween, Holiday and Valentine’s Day. Volunteers are needed to help plan each party, set up and clean up in the rooms, and coordinate the activities for that party. Parents can volunteer to be a room parent helper. Salad Bar Students have the opportunity to enjoy a salad bar option at lunchtime a few times throughout the school year. For class parties I love to set up four activity stations. Valentine's Day parties are much easier when kids are in small groups versus all doing the same thing at the same time. Here are the four Valentine's Day party stations I typically set up: Valentines themed Arts & Crafts; Valentine's Day Games; Valentine's Day Bingo; Valentines themed Snack Say “Happy Valentine’s Day” in a silly voice. Share your favorite Valentine’s Day treat. Make a heart shape with your hands and hold it up for 5 seconds. Tell a classmate something you like about them. Pretend to shoot Cupid’s arrow at someone. Hop on one foot while saying “Be my Valentine” three times. Here’s a fun Valentine’s Day game that will reinforce literacy skills too. Here’s how it works: Students will learn that 8 people were at a Valentine’s Day party when two people were struck by cupids bow and fell in love. They’ll then need to solve who is cupid. Students will get 8 Valentine’s day non-fiction riddles to solve. Students can create presentations, write greetings in other languages, or even sample traditional Valentine’s Day treats from around the world. Virtual Valentine’s Day Elementary School Activities. Even if you’re not physically together, Valentine’s Day can be a time to connect with classmates and friends in unique and interactive ways. Valentine’s Day Writing Prompts for Elementary Students. Valentine’s Day is more than just candy hearts and paper cards—it’s an opportunity to help kids express their creativity through writing. Providing fun and imaginative prompts encourages elementary students to write, draw, and explore themes of kindness, love, and family. Host a Valentine’s Theme Day. I LOVE a good theme day and my Cupid Day is adorable! It includes Valentine’s Day activities for an entire day of engaging lessons that are all planned out for you! Valentine's Day Reminder: This is a friendly reminder that we do not have a campus Valentine's Day party. Our campus parties are the winter party and the end of the year party hosted by PTA. Please do not send treats to school for the entire class on Valentine's Day. Students are allowed to bring Valentine's cards to give out to their homeroom.
