We would like to show you a description here but the site won’t allow us. I have seen that Valentine's Day is one of if not the most hated holiday ever. But why? I see two main reasons as to why people hate Valentine's Day. 1.It is overcomercialized 2.The person in question is single Let's start with the first reason. Well I hate to break it to you but every holiday is overcomercialized. Every single one of them. I hate Valentine's Day as there's no reason for it to exist. I've always hated it, both when I was single and now when I'm in a relationship. If you truly love someone, you shouldn't need a special day for it other than your anniversary. Everything about modern Valentine's Day is greed centric. I'm not a fan of holidays in general though. I'm going to propose we celebrate Discount Valentine's Day -- you go to the store a day or two after valentine's day and get discount flowers and chocolates, and celebrate the weekend after.
