We are proud to be the home for the Cult of the Spiny Hog, which is our very own ‘club’ for readers and writers of poetry. Vic has won the Café Writers and Cupid’s Arrow Competitions, and been shortlisted for the National Poetry Day #speakyourtruth prize on YouTube. Well, I probably should have revealed these at the time, but never quite did, but as the year ends it does in fact seem the perfect time to reveal that our nominations for 2024 for Best of the Net and The Pushcart Prize were The May and June Cult Members-only Challenge - Part Two AND THE WINNERS ARE Well, it took a bit of judging but in the end I genuinely couldn't split two of the wee collections, and so I was proud and pleased and mucho chuffed to discover that it is in fact Two of the Original Members of the Cult who's work captured me, as it were.. So with no further messing around, Verily Many She has also been published in the anthologies Places of Poetry and Beyond the Storm.
