To me, Valentine's day is just a typical day like any other day. I don't even give a shit if I'm going to spend it alone. At least I will have other things to do with my best friend: myself. I'm always lonely and I hate time anyway. Tomorrow means nothing to me. Here's what I'll be feeling like tomorrow Lived in the Midwest for a while and they had Sweetest Day in the fall in addition to Valentines Day so the made up holiday thing happened twice per year so you basically could feel special twice a year or feel left out twice a year or roll your eyes twice per year over it . The middle school didn’t make everyone pass out valentine’s cards like they had at my last school, so it was more obvious than ever who was popular and who I hate Valentine's Day because it's .. a day . One that I have to endure, alone, surrounded by people who are blessed with a much better circumstance, that they've been able to acquire for themselves because they have visible and apparent value as human beings. I know what it is like to be isolated such that all customary holidays are spent alone. Valentine's day is the one celebratory day where I feel complete indifference.
